Person fosters stray cat who looks like she's sick, but a few days later, she surprises them with a litter of 3 colorful kittens instead: 'She got one of each of her tortie colors!'

Adopting a sick cat is one of the kindest things that you can do. Their life is hard, they need help, and really, as people who love cats, there is nothing that we find more incredible than seeing a stray cat get adopted and spoiled the way that they deserve to be. So, when this person adopted a cat that they thought was sick with worms, they did something amazing, they just didn't know that they cat had an even more amazing surprise in the making. Or three surprises.

Because this cat wasn't sick, not at all. This cat was actually pregnant, and it only took her a few days - a few days or true comfort and care - to feel comfortable enough to let those babies out. Literally. Before these people knew what happened, they had an adorable litter of wiggly kittens to take care of. But at least it looks like all four of them are purrfectly healthy.

Oh, this is the best surprise that you could have possibly gotten. Not only is your kitty not sick - thank goodness - but you have three new bundles of joy to bring shenanigans into your home.

We know that you said you are not ready to adopt a new cat yet, but… you have to consider fate. Maybe the momma cat was not given to you by the CDS, but the kittens sure were, and they're all going to need homes. Either way though, we respect it, and we just hope that you do manage to find worthy homes for all of these little fluffballs.
